Mommy said I need a friend.

She took me to a pet store
and told me to find a friend.
The spiders were too scary,
the snakes were too big,
the dogs were too loud,
than I saw a kitty.
Its fur was pitch back,
its eyes were bright red.
Its sign was blank,
and its price tag said free.
When I got home I went to bed.
That night I woke to a voice.
